Excellent stay, recommend to anyone staying in Creel

Beautiful courtyard, clean, beautiful tile in the rooms, breakfast and Cena ( light supper) included . The staff were super helpful and went far beyond what was expected for us to have a wonderful time and meet our travel schedule. I highly recommend this hotel.

Arrived in Creel by train one cold December night many decades ago not knowing where I was going to stay. A boy found me at the station and led me through the dark streets to Margarita’s Guest House, the traveler’s headquarters for Copper Canyon. Dinner was already over, but a young woman in the kitchen smiled at me. She put her hand on my shoulder and said, “Sientasé. Let me fix you some hot food.” It was standard Mexican fare – beans, rice, cheese, tortillas – but it was the best meal I ever had. Next day the staff helped a group of us – a French Canadian family, a Hungarian anthropologist, two college buddies from New Mexico, and myself – hire a driver for an overnight tour to the Tarahumara village of Batopilas at the bottom of the canyon. The drive down and back was spectacular, and the Festival of the Posadas in the town square and local moonshine made the evening glow. Next morning some of us went to the lost mission of Setavo. And on the way back up we got a flat tire. Overall, a memorable trip. Long Live Margarita’s Guest House!

Es un Hotel que te hace sentir como si estuvieras en casa. Las habitaciones son accesibles, tipo rústicas, limpias y muy acogedoras. Cuentan en su interior con un calentador ya que por la madrugada la temperatura suele bajar un poco más. El área de comedor ofrece desayunos y cenas sencillas pero con un toque muy casero y agradable al paladar. Todo el personal en general es muy amable. También tienen opciones de tours, donde está Luis como guía quien en todo momento hace del paseo una experiencia única.

Muy buen hotel, solo que cuando llegues estaban unos muchachos en recepción los cuales no tienen profesionalismo, la señora que atiende lo hace mejor. Cabe destacar que la cena y desayuno son estupendos. Las camas un poco viejas, pero para el precio esta de maravilla. Queda a 4 cuadras de la estación del chepe.

Buen hotel para disfrutar el centro de Creel, limpio y silencioso, habitaciones algo pequeñas. Buen servicio de restaurante en el desayuno y cena incluidos, con horarios limitados en el servicio de sus alimentos, pero muy cerca de la zona de restaurantes del pueblo

Beautiful Mexican decorations, bathrooms with "Talavera" tiles, furniture made of carved wood. The hotel has all the resources doing all activities in the area.

Están padres las habitaciones (coloridas) sirven el desayuno, está bien, completo. La calefacción es mediante gas, entonces hay que tener cuidado (casi todo el sitio o el pueblo) huele a humo así que es contraproducente si debes mantener abiertas las ventanas para ventilación, yo preferí dormir con cobija y apagada la calefacción. Hay agua caliente y la habitación que me dieron tenía una cocineta, estaba muy bonita ya reglada la habitación. Solo habría que mejor el tema de entregas de habitaciones, había gente (fin de semana feriado) y todos se amontonaron en la entrada. El mismo casi paso cuando se sirvió el desayuno.
